Yangpyeong Training Center is located in a place commanding an open view of the Namhan River in Yangpyeong. This project war entirely redesigned while the frame construction was in progress, as its programme and use changed to the concept of laboratory for the meeting of CEO, small group, and study group.

The original frame had a main staircase in a concrete bos at the centre of the building without a view to the river. A good view could be enjoyed from each floor by moving this staircase to the backside and an atypical design of main stairs gave vitality to the whole building as an object and vertical circulation.

The main meeting room on the first floor and rooms on the second floor were placed at the front side and shower booth in the bathroom surrounding a garden make it more natural. Every room was planned as a unique space with a high ceiling to improve creativity in a large space with many terraces and gardens.

Designed to link the interior and exterior organically, this space is used for enjoying a fine view towards a lake around a fireplace to the sound of babbling water in a pond.

This originated in the belief that the change of the meeting place from a suffocating downtown office to a place surrounded by beautiful nature and clean air, and will help provide more creative and positive ideas. The design intended to make the building maintain a low profile as a part of nature, while enjoying beautiful natural environment and to view with enough privacy.
