Kumgang Mountain is our pride in the beauty of Korea's nature and a national heritage. Mt. Kumgang and the East Sea is the Mt. Kumgang Golf & Spa Resort ananti to highlights as much as possible the design of its move to the characteristics to come in the focus. It wanted to break away from myopia and plan a world-class resort that would be perfect for foreign tourists to visit after reunification. To minimize the damage to the nature and to blend in with their basic concepts, majestic Mt. Kumgang can experience the full and deep and broad view of the donghae necessarily should take to make design goal.
In the layout plan, we sought to minimize natural damage through organic structures conforming to the terrain and appropriate high and low planning. To that end, complex composition, perspective into second and privacy as possible to acquire from all ages and can view the donghae In addition, we planned to be two stories or less with sloped roofs to preserve existing ridges. Because the complex is located toward the west to view Mt. Kumgang, the clubhouse and the east side of the condominium have skylights and Gochang, allowing visitors to feel the mysterious morning sunlight of Mt. Kumgang. Can experience the flow of sunrise and sunset time in this building to Mount Kumgang and by the time of the donghae can experience. Club House, being the core program of the resort, is situated in the center of the site. The morphology(form) of the club house communicates with the nature through emphasizing the low and wide-spread horizontal line contrasting to the geographical characteristics of Mt. Kumgang.
금강산은 한국 자연의 아름다움을 간직한 우리의 자랑이며 민족의 유산이다. 솟구치는 기암절벽, 기묘한 봉우리, 풍파를 견뎌낸 소나무, 힘찬 폭포, 맑고 푸른 동해 모두가 어우러져 수백 년 전부터 우리 선조들이 즐겨 그린 한 폭의 동양화 같은 장관을 연출한다.
금강산 아난티 골프 & 온천 리조트는 금강산과 동해가 한눈에 들어오는 천혜의 단지로, 그 특성을 최대한 부각시키는 데 설계의 주안점을 두었다. 근시적 안목에서 벗어나 통일 후 외국 관광객들이 방문하더라도 손색 없을 세계적 수준의 리조트를 계획하고자 했다. 자연 훼손을 최소화하며 자연과 어우러지는 것을 기본 개념으로, 웅장한 금강산과 깊고 넓은 동해의 절경을 최대한 체험할 수 있게 하는 것이 반드시 지켜야 할 디자인 목표였다.
배치 계획에서는 지형에 순응하는 유기적 구조와 적절한 고저 계획을 통해 자연 훼손을 최소로 줄이고자 했다. 이를 위해 단지를 2단으로 조성, 조망과 프라이버시를 확보하며 모든 세대에서 금강산과 동해를 조망할 수 있다. 또한 기존 능선을 보존하기 위해 경사지붕을 가진 2층 이하 규모로 계획했다. 금강산을 바라볼 수 있도록 단지를 서측을 향해 배치했기 때문에 클럽하우스와 콘도 내부 동측에 천창과 고창을 두어 금강산의 신비로운 아침 햇살을 느낄 수 있다. 이렇게 건물 내부에서도 일출과 일몰의 시간적 흐름을 경험할 수 있게 해 금강산과 동해의 절경을 시간별로 체험할 수 있다. 클럽하우스는 리조트 내 핵심적 시설을 가준 건축물로 그 중심부에 위치한다. 형태적으로 낮고 넓게 펼쳐진 수평성을 강조하여, 수직적인 공간인 금강산과 대비되는 모습으로 자연과 소통하고자 했다.
